Why is this important?
Your resource name is a core descriptive field within FAIRsharing. Using the official name consistently helps researchers and software identify your resource unambiguously and distinguish it from similar resources.
FAIR: Supports Findability by providing clear, consistent metadata describing your resource.
The record name is mandatory for all FAIRsharing records.
The record logo is optional for all FAIRsharing records.
Please also see the general information regarding our minimal curation requirements.
The full name of the new resource, using the appropriate mixed casing.
Abbreviations are added in a different field, so simply write the complete, un-abbreviated name of the resource in this field.
You may also upload a new logo (or replace an existing logo) of the resource you are describing. It must be in png format.
