# Contact Information

It is **mandatory** to have at least one contact for all FAIRsharing records.

**A contact name and email address for the person or group responsible for the maintenance of the resource.** 

If an individual is the designated contact for this record, their ORCID ID can be entered in the Contact ORCID field.

Contact Email must contain a valid email address. Contact ORCID must contain the ORCID ID rather than the URL to the contact’s ORCID listing.

The contact for the resource does not have to be the same as the maintainer, and more than one contact may be added.
